One-on-one tutoring services are offered by A+ Tutoring in the manner that is most convenient to the family, whether in the home, at school or at a nearby learning center. Instruction is also provided as part of a school’s supplemental tutoring program.

Build the Foundation

Reading, math and science are the foundation for learning and are a major focus at A+ Tutoring. Students are prepared for foreign language studies, graduate entrance exams, career testing, and a host of other educational pursuits. The tutors from A+ carefully watch how individuals process and use information. They are specially trained to detect learning styles and stress the basic building blocks of learning, reading and math, which must be mastered before moving on to more complex elements.

Skill Mastery, Current School Work

Using a practical approach, A+ Tutoring works with students on their current school work, opening the door to success in the classroom, with daily worksheets and with tests. Once a new reading or math concept is applied and understood, the next concept is introduced. If a student cannot demonstrate knowledge and understanding, exercises are added until the skill is mastered. Study skills, time management, and organization of assignments, as well as test taking skills, are also built into the tutoring experience.
