For almost a quarter century, A+ Tutoring Service has been helping Minnesota students and their families to meet learning challenges, helping to clear the roadblocks that interfere with progress on the path toward educational achievement.
From its beginnings in Minnesota serving students in their homes in 1985, A+ now also offers tutoring services to private individuals at learning centers in Woodbury and Edina, Minnesota and in Illinois, as well.
A+ Tutoring is well-staffed, with experienced tutors working with students in their areas of study. A regular math teacher trying to help someone with Spanish is not especially useful. Thus, A+ tutors in algebra are knowledgeable math teachers and tutors working on composition skills are accomplished in English. A substantial majority of A+ tutors have advanced level degrees.
A seasoned leadership team directs the activities of A+ Tutoring, providing steady direction and the wisdom of experience. Bonnie Vander Vegte, a veteran teacher, serves as president and a principal of the company, while Frank and Marilyn Aspen are company officers and co-owners.
A+ Tutoring is headquartered in Woodbury, Minnesota and primarily offers private tutoring services and some small group tutoring programs in selected school systems. Extensive group tutoring services are provided in Chicago and in other Midwest communities.
